About The Club

Sydney University Soccer Football Club (SUSFC) offers both elite and social football to both Sydney University students as well as the general community. With over 20 teams playing in a number of different competitions, the Club set-up may be a little confusing to the newcomer (and even to some us who have been here a while). To hopefully clear things up a little, here is an outline of the different parts of the Club.

1. Men’s Super League

The Men’s Super League squad consists of a squad of two teams: First Grade and the Under 20s team. They play in the Soccer NSW Winter Super League, the second highest division of football in NSW, beneath the SNSW Premier League.

In 2007, the competition will have 14 teams and played over 26 rounds beginning on the weekend of March 3rd /4th. The top five teams in each grade will contest a finals series, while the bottom three teams on the First Grade table at the end of the season will be relegated.

In 2007, the competition will have 10 teams and be played over 18 rounds beginning on Sunday 18 March. Promotion to the Premier League will be the club that finishes first on the Club Championship table (with the performance of all grades rated equally).
