Player Duties

Helping Out Your Squad

Each player is required to help out with the running of your squad and the club. To this end, each player must:

• Sell at least one book of tickets in our guessing competition
• Attend your Squad Dinner at the ForestLodgeHotel
• Wash your squad or team's playing jerseys at least once
• Assist your squad manager as required on match days, especially at home games. This may mean helping to put up the nets, retrieving match balls, operating the scoreboard or filling up water bottles.

In general, please comply with any request made by a manager promptly and with good humour.

Helping Out Your Club

SUSFC is run entirely by volunteers. In order to prevent the burden of administration from falling on a willing few, the number of squads supported by SUSFC is directly linked to the number of volunteers. If each squad puts forward 3-5 volunteers then it will supported by SUSFC. Failure to do so will mean fewer teams.
