New Pub Golf Champion! Whole Club

Although as I have often stated, SUSFC encourages responsible drinking, Pub Golf is perhaps the one exception to that rule.

Friday night saw the tradition continue with a small but merry band of golfers setting off from the Nags to tackle what looked like a challenging course.

As I wasn't one of them, I don't really have much to say about it. All I know is that in the wash-up, Chris Brunner managed to wrest the trophy from Pat Lloyd for the first time this century.

Anyone with stories from the evening is welcome to comment. But hopefully there is nothing as shameful as the year a certain Club President risked impeachment when he won the trophy by drinking LIGHT beer! (Sorry Brendan, I had to slip that in).

As the golf director, I can confirm that while we were on the course all players were well behaved and no-one was refused entry.
Closest to the pin was Chris Brunner drinking his schooner in 3.2 seconds
