Under 20s through to the Grand Final! Men's Super League Teams

A 1-0 win over St George was enough to propel the Men's Super League Under 20s to their second Grand Final in succession.

When the sides met in the final round of the regular season, St George were victorious, finishing 2-0 winners; but not before Uni Keeper, Carl McMahon, was sent to hospital with a suspected broked jaw after a sickening collision with a St George striker.

Yesterday's win means that the U20s have earned another week off before the Grand Final in two week's time.

Was great to see the 20s go through in a hard fought game. Well done boys.
However it was very dissapointing that none of the 1st grade players were there to lend their support.
It would be great if we could make an effort to support them in the Grand Final.

Congratulations boys - well done on making a second GF in a row. Sorry I wasn't there to support you - I will try my best to be at the big one to hopefully watch you make it a "double double".

Great effort all over the park guys. Great save Hamish, and what a goal from James Piece(it was his birtday) on a day which belonged to the Sydney Uni under 20s
Thanks for the joy of watching a group of young men play enjoyable football.

Where and when is the grand final? Might need to get out the "back the slobber" banner.

The U20s Grand Final will take place on SATURDAY 16 September at Melita Stadium kicking off at 12:30pm. This is a late change - up until yesterday, we had been advised that the game would be on Sunday.
