Gyorgy Markus 6-A-Side

Every year the Club holds a 6-a-side tournament to raise money for Gyorgy Markus, a former Sydney Uni player who was badly injured during an Intervarsity match in 1986.

This year the tournament was originally scheduled for June but due to bad weather it had to be postponed. So now the event has been rescheduled to Sunday 24 September at St John's Oval, starting at 10am.

The cost is free for Club members (the price was incorporated into your rego fees) and $5 per player for non-Club members. You can enter a whole team or simply come along on your own and we'll find a team for you.

The teams are mixed and there is usually something like a goal headstart for every woman on the team (although the rules for this year have not yet been finalised).

I want to play soccer very much but I don't have a team cos am new here in sydney.
