Reports have just come back from Adelaide that the Men's AUG team have won back-to-back AUG Gold Medals.

In this afternoon's final against Griffith University, two goals from Ed Noel were enough for Sydney Uni to take the title after going undefeated throughout the tournament.

The Women's team also played in the Gold Medal match this afternoon but were desperately unlucky. After accounting for Melbourne Uni in the semi, they faced Wollongong in the final. The two teams couldn't be separated in regular play, but Sydney ended up at the wrong end of the penalty shoot-out and tasted their only defeat of the tournament.

Gold and Silver is a great performance for the squad. Well done to all involved and particularly to Brad Wiblen and Emma Schiller who did a great job organising and managing the teams (as well as playing).

An oustanding effort! Well done to both teams.
