I am turning 17 at the end of this year. I played in the 1st XI for my school, St. Ignatius College this year. How much better is the standard in the under 18s compared to the 1st XI competition for GPS? Thanks.

I must admit that I have never played under U18s reps nor First XI for my school so am not really in any position to comment.

Anyone out there have any thoughts?

The Development League will probably run at a faster pace (game wise) then the 1st XI competition. Waverley College X1 and the XI competition seems to move slower then the representative teams. I recently trialled for the Premier Youth League and the speed of the game is so much faster, but i'm sure you'll be able to adapt and fit in, since you are from a 1st XI team.

Anyone else want to comment?

The level is a good stepping stone to play at higher Youth League if you wish to do so.

I would just like to say thanks for the trial games at pagewood under 16 I had alot fun.But I dont get why we had trial games if you had all ready choosen the teams half way throw the trials. Its not fair for us and the others that have travelled far away just to try out and you guys had all ready made your minds up.
