Mens Super League Trials

The next (second) trial for Mens Super League teams (First Grade and Unders 20s), as well as U18s, will be as advertised on Sunday 5 November 2006 starting at 9:00am at Jellicoe Park Pagewood. Contrary to what was advised at the first trial on Sunday 29/10, there will NOT be any trial on Wednesday 1 November 2006.

I am looking to play football while i am staying in Sydney. I am a 24yr old Scottish guy who has played football at a competitive level for most of my life. I have played at both professional and semi-professional level in Scotland and would like the chance to play here.
I am currently living in the city centre so would like to find a team that is easy to travel to through public transport.

Thanks

Stuart

Stuart, you would be very welcome to come to our trials. We are possibly the most convenient club to the Sydney CBD, although our trials are being held a little way out of town. Is there a phone number we could ring you on to chat to you further about your experience and level of expectation from an Australian club ?

To the IST grade men’s coach super league. I admire in some respects your decision to keep last years team but when some of the new people trialling are far better than last years team you should in all fairness select the best players for the good of the club. This global insight would improve your standing in the league.

from a players point of view, i think the people selected where the best there. there were quite a few first grade players missing on sunday due to other soccer committments or exams and in my opinion no player who missed the cut really stood out as being someone who should of made the team

why have trials if the entire team from last year is selected? at this level everyone's position is up for grabs!

at least half a dozen from different clubs.

look i think every player from time to time has been not selected for certain teams. live with it. its part of playing competitive sport

you may feel like you were better than other players. if you were, and you got cut then tough break. sh*t happens.

stop whingeing and go out and trial for another team

it is not about that it was one of your own team who noticed the difference obviously you cant answer in a civil manner which indciates to me that this should be reported to nsw soccer
