Best Day EVER for SU Futsal!

OK, this is the first season of Futsal in the SUSFC program, and the season has only been running for 7 rounds, but it is still worth poining out that last Saturday was the best day so far for Uni in this competition.

At their temporary home ground in Tempe, Uni faced the West City Crusaders. After some early hiccups trying to get the doors open (clearly a tactic to unsettle the opposition), the Under 12 Boys started the day with a thumping 10-3 win. This was enough to lift them into the top four.

The U14 Boys followed this up with a 7-0 win, then the U13 Girls made it three-from-three with an equally emphatic 10-2 win. The girls are flying high on top of the table with 5 wins, a draw and just the one loss.

The U16 Boys were unfortunate to go down 3-7, but their female counterparts continued their own great form, winning a close one 7-5 to be in second place only on goal difference.

The U19 Men managed a well deserved 5-2 win to leave them fourth on the table. The Open Women were the second Uni casualties of the day, losing 2-6. But the Men finished things off in style with a 3-2 win.

So with six wins out of eight, a really good day for Uni. Good luck next week!

hey..
i am not quiet sure if this is the right place to ask for a soccer club. i am from germany and i arrived in sydney nearly 2 month ago and i really want to play soccer, even it is only for practice. it doesn't matter if it is indoor or outdoor.

Well I think we've topped this "best day" already. Our results for Nov 25 were 7 wins from 8. How long before we manage 8/8?

The only loss on the weekend was a forfeit from the U13 girls. From all reports, the team is strong enough that they would have won with 4 players, but that isn't allowed in the rules.

Thanks Soccer NSW.

Why where only four girls there for the U13 game ? Where were the others after all this is premier league ? Terry do not blame SNSW, try FIFA they make the rules the ref enforces them. After all Futsal is an international game.
