Competition to Redesign this Website

Here at SUSFC we like to move with the times. When our website was first set up back in 1997, we were one of the first football clubs to have one. Although I think that this site is still one of the best going round, especially with the spinning ball (get it "spinning ball", "going round" - OK, I won't quit my day job yet), we think that it is about time we changed the look and feel of things a bit.

So we are launching a competition to redesign the SUSFC website (it worked for the Australian Flag and the Opera House, so why not us).

In order to win, you will need to know some technical stuff. Club Technical Officer, Dave Shaw, tells me that HTML, CSS and PHP would be the kind of stuff you'd need to use (although those letters mean nothing to me). You will also need to know a bit about style and presentation. However, there are tutorials and design templates that you can use to get started.

You can also team up to try to come up with the best design.

And I guess we can't have a competition without a prize. Well how does free Club rego sound? I guess it sounds good unless you don't actually play football (or are in Men's Super League). So if anyone else wins, we can negotiate a different prize of a similar value.

So if you want to know more about this great opportunity, call me on 9351 8113 or email me on t.hogan@susport.usyd.edu.au (as long as you don't ask me what HTML stands for).
