| SU Sport Fees - further information | Whole Club |
As you should have seen by now, before you can register for the Soccer Club, you have to pay your $55 SU Sport fee at an SU Sport facility (SU Sport office, Sports and Aquatic Centre, the Arena, or the HK Ward Gym).
When you do this, it is probably best NOT to mention that you are from the Soccer Club. Just say that you want to "join SU Sport and pay the $55 annual membership fee". That's it.
They will ask you to fill in a form, maybe take your photo, hopefully give you a card, and give you a receipt. Bring the card (or the receipt if you don't get a card) to rego night and we'll sign you up.
NOTE: If everyone just waits for rego night to sign up for SU Sport, the gyms are going to be packed. So if you can sign up to SU Sport before Wednesday night, please do so. Also, if the Arena is too busy, try HK Ward or the Aquatic Centre.
NOTE FOR NEW PLAYERS: Joining SU Sport will not guarantee you a spot in the Club. You still have to come to trials and be selected in a team.
ARE YOU UNDER 18? The gyms are not set up to take junior memberships so if you think you are entitled to a junior membership, either go to the SU Sport main office or email me on t.hogan@susport.usyd.edu.au and we will sort something out.
NOTE FOR LIFE MEMBERS: If you have lost your membership badge (or never collected one), you can get a new badge from the SU Sport Office (under the Sports and Aquatic Centre). Just bring evidence that you have paid 5 years of SU Sports fees when you go to pay the $55 Annual Fee. The badge doesn't cost any extra.

For those who are life members and no longer have a badge - you have to go the the SU sport office between 9am and 5pm to get a badge reissued and pay your annual membership. They do have a database of all life members so you don't HAVE to bring with you proof of payment for 5 years of SU sport membership.
