ESFA Men's Trials - Sunday 4 March
|
Men's Social Teams
|
The trials for all Men's All Age teams to play in ESFA will be held on the following dates:
1) Sunday 4 March - St John's Rugby Field - 11.30am
2) Wednesday 7 March - Wentworth Park No. 4 (closest to the fish markets) - 6.00 pm. This will be followed by a few drinks at the Nags Head hotel. This will be a good chance for the coaches to get to know the prospective new players.
3) Saturday 10 March - St John's Rugby Field - 11.30 am.
4) If you are selected to join the Club, you will be asked to come back on Sunday 11 March for final grading.
5) Registration Night - Wednesday 14 March. Nags Head Hotel from 6pm. If you are selected in a team, you will need to come to the pub to pay your fees and fill in registration forms. If you don't do this on this night, you will probably not be registered in time for the first games.
Please note that we get a large number of people at these trials, so to give yourself the best chance of making a team, make sure you come to all the dates, including coming to the pub after Wednesday night's trials.
NOTE: Don't forget to bring your boots, shin-pads and anything else you might need to play (water is always a good idea).
If you have any further questions regarding these trials, contact Pat Lloyd at patlloyd007@gmail.com.

I think you've got you're dates mixed up on this post buddie. I presume it is supposed to read Sunday 2nd, Wed 5th, Sat 8th, Sun 9th and Wed 12th (you've got 4th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 14th). I'll be there if they are the dates I think they are. Cheers
Yeah Terry, fix the dates. Didn't you know it's already September 2007. Or possibly December 2007...

I was hoping it was still July 2006 and I was over in Europe and still in my 20s.

I can definitely make it for both weekend dates, but this coming Wednesday may be an issue...if I can't make it for the trials session, but then come to the pub when what I am doing is finished, will that be good enough?

Unfortunately, we can't guarantee that you will make a team even if you came to all 3 trials. However, the more things you come to, the better your chances of making a team. So I would certainly recommend coming to the pub if you can make it.
